Brahmavadin

(1895-1914, Madras)

The Brahmavadin was published from September 1895 to March-April 1914 (Vol. 1 to Vol. 19) by the Brahmavadin Press in Madras. It was published fortnightly from 1895 to 1898 and monthly thereafter. The Brahmavadin was succeeded by → Vedanta Kesari (1914-present).

Starting with Vol. 5, the Brahmavadin carried the subtitle A Monthly Religious and Philosophical Journal, which was later (from Vol. 16 onwards) changed to The Monthly Magazine of Religion Philosophy and Allied Subjects.
