The Half-Yearly Journal of the Mysore University was published by the Bangalore Press in Bangalore City. A first, interdisciplinary series ran from 1927 to 1936 (Vol. 1 to Vol. 8); a second series began in 1940, with distinct sections for the Arts (Section A), Science (Section B), and Medicine (Section C) (Vol. 1 to Vol. 22, New Series). The Arts section was edited by A. R. Wadia.
The Ideas of India database covers the arts sections of Vol. 1 to Vol. 8 (1927-1936) of the first series and of Vol. 1 to Vol. 11 (1940-1950) of the new series of the Half-Yearly Journal of the Mysore University.
